      Fulbright Elementary is a multicultural school which provides an exciting nurturing learning environment for K through fifth grade students. At Fulbright, you and your family will experience a higher standard of learning. Our staff is committed to the growth of our students. Students have access to the latest technology software through a 28-station computer lab with SMART board. Fulbright also boasts K-2 gifted enrichment, a 3-5 gifted program, STAR Camp for grades 3-5 ACTAAP enrichment, classroom computers, complete special education team, art program, spelling bee, stock market club, cheerleaders, student council, Joy Choir, student ambassadors, after school care provided on site, and a media center supporting Accelerated Reader.

     The teachers, support staff, and volunteers at Fulbright have received many nominations and awards including LRSD Teacher of the Year and National Board Certification.

     Fulbright is also supported by its PTA, which sponsors a number of events throughout the year, including Grandparents Day, Book Fair, Field Day, 5th Grade Celebration, Kindergarten Social, Fall Carnival, Swamp Stomp, and Teacher Appreciation days to name a few.

     Fulbright is named for the former Senator J. William Fulbright. In the fall of 2003, Fulbright celebrated its 25th birthday and is committed to 25 more years of excellence in education.
