Ms. Mandy Farquhar's Room!

My name is Mandy Farquhar.  This is my seventh year at Fulbright Elementary and with the Little Rock School District.  I am thrilled to continue another great year with a great team of professionals and a wonderful group of kids.

 

     

My treatment philosophy is based around a collaborative model across all disciplines:  classroom teachers, specialists, speech, occupational and physical therapies.  Therapy may be provided in variety settings:  classroom, therapy room, playground and other appropriate transitional points throughout the school day.  The use of classwork and books are incorporated into therapy as well.  Sensory Integration is implemented to  help students modulate their by using some of the following:  running, jumping, playing outside, providing fidgets, music, and playing a variety of games.  This therapy team provides treatment targeting the Basic Education Frameworks appropriate for that child's grade level. 

On a personal note, I love spending time with my family, traveling, running, scrapbooking, movies and of course, THE BEACH!
