A Weekly
Newsletter for Students and Parents
January 23,
2012
This week, our story is Luke
Goes to Bat and we will be working on
the skill of sequencing events in the story.
In writing, we will continue to write fictional narrative pieces.
Many of the students are running out of “J” tablet.
Please check with your children to see if they need supplies.
Monday, January 30th, is the 100th day of school!
Second grade is doing a fundraiser to go along with the 100th
day. We would love for each child to
bring 100 coins to donate to Arkansas Children’s Hospital on Monday, January 30th.
Also, the students can dress like they are 100 years old that Monday!
Friday, February 10th is Conference Day.
Conference times will be coming home soon.
Friday, February 3rd is the Father Daughter Dance.
Girls can bring dads, grandpas, uncles, or a family friend to this dance!
