As of January 31st, all students will start doing some test prep. Test prep will also be practiced more in homework for Literacy and Math.

 

 

Welcome back to the “New Year.” The children came back eager and excited about learning. The new period started last Wednesday.

Please remember to discuss, set goals, and expectations for the new period. set good study habits and a 30 min. sustained reading time daily. Fourth graders are expected to do homework

45-60min.  Lastly, Thanks for the beautiful gifts.

  • Punctuality is a virtue, if your child is not in class and in a seat by 7:45, he/ she is tardy and missing part of math. class. This can cause a drop in learning and progress in math.

  •  All*stars value Teamwork. As a class we're on track for learning. This year our classroom management system will reflect "on track and off track behavior. Our goal is for everyone to stay on track. When off track, the "pit stop" is an opportunity to fix the behavior and get back on track. Staying on track weekly will result in tickets and rewards. As a class we will brainstorm rewards for this year. "It pays to do the right thing." Failure to fix behavior and get back on track will result in time out, parent contact, and or behavior document or Principal's office.
